About Our Opportunity

As the Administrative Assistant, you will manage and administer the daily operations in the areas of loan administration, debenture management, banking and general administrative support. In addition, you will provide administrative support to the CEO and Board of Directors including maintaining the official ledger of Board meeting minutes and acting as secretary to the Corporation’s Audit Committee.

The skill set required to effectively perform the duties of this position are unique to organizations with small full-time staff with high work volume and multi task requirements, that rely on others outside the organization for many of its services. The position requires dedication, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work under pressure in situations where the financial consequence of error is significant. The ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff of provincial departments that provide services to the Corporation, municipal clients and the financial community are important elements in the success of the Corporation.

About You

You have three (3) years of related experience in an administrative support role. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.

You must have proficiency in a variety of computer applications including: Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Adobe Acrobat.

You are organized, detail oriented, work well with numbers and complete work with a high degree of accuracy. You are a self-motivated individual who works both independently with minimal supervision and participates fully as an effective team player. You are a goal setter and work diligently to achieve results.

You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and present information in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in written formats. You consistently maintain a professional and courteous disposition and hold a high standard for client and customer service.

Pay Grade EC 05

Salary Range: $1,566.66 - $1,958.33 Bi-Weekly
